Introduction

Cultivating Global Nurses Who Have Practical Nursing Skills
The Nursing major is a "Bachelor of Nursing Degree Program" accredited by the Korea Nursing Education and Evaluation Institute since 2013, contributing to the improvement of quality in nursing education. To contribute to the improvement of people’s health, we are running programs based on the changes in domestic and overseas health care environments and the needs of the nursing field. Programs include performance based program, simulation training based on scenarios, running professional courses and qualification courses, and a personality development program. Through these efforts, we are realizing our vision that cultivates global nurses who have practical nursing skills.

Distinction of the Major

01Curriculum Based On Practical Skill

We have both Ulsan University Hospital and Asan Medical Center in Seoul as clinical training institutes. We are strengthening students’ working capacity by using faculty and clinical field instructors with educational expertise and practical skills.

02High Passing Rate of National Nursing Examination and High Rate of Employment

We have an excellent study environment by providing many scholarships such as the Asan Foundation Nursing Scholarship, the Ulsan University Hospital Nursing Society Scholarship and the Nursing Science and Development Fund Scholarship. Students are guaranteed to pass the national nursing examination and employment after the admission. Graduates who are employed in hospitals after practice are recognized for their ability to adjust to work in the field. Nurses are guaranteed 100% employment if they so desire.

03Field-Based Training Facility

We have field-based training facilities such as a simulation lab, a basic nursing practice room, a health assessment practice room, a CPX practice room and a debriefing room.

04Overseas Training Program

We offer various overseas training programs such as overseas language training, on-the-job training, and Global Challenger. We are running tutoring courses to prepare students for the USA nurse examinations as well.

Careers After Graduating

Nurses, healthcare officials, health managers (industrial nurses), elementary and middle school health teachers, visiting nursing centers and long-term care nurses at home, social welfare institutions and nursing homes, national health insurance corporations and insurance screening nurses, rescue officers, professors and researchers, airlines, blood banks, pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies, overseas employment etc.
