The east campus is possibly the most beautiful campus in S. Korea. The buildings resemble a North American college nestled into the rolling hills and fragrant woods of the area. Features include a full service gymnasium and health club (tennis/basketball/squash and racquetball courts) open to all students; Asan Sports Centre (Roland Garros clay courts and a full ice rink) located in Dong Gu very near to both Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and Hyundai Heavy Industries. A 30 minute bus ride to both Samsan Dong and Seongam Dong.
10 minute walk from Ilsan Beach and Daehwagam. Great place to visit a café, pub, restaurant or take a stroll on the beach. Follow the beach to the east side where you will find wooden steps up to Daehwangam for some of the most picturesque seascapes along the magical S. Korean coast.
5 minute walk to a great choice of conveniences: small shops, banks, bakeries, eateries, fast food places (both western and Korean), hair shops, accessory/phone shops, an outdoor fruit/vegetable/meat market and many other local businesses.
