Overview of workshop

The workshop is composed of welding practice area and material processing area. The equipments of the workshop are the same specifications as the industrial field.

Welding booth

Welding practice area is equipped with 35 booths. Manual metal, CO2, and TIG arc welding machines are installed in each booth for trainees to practice various welding methods.

Welding material processing

Test specimen can be manufactured in this area, which is equipped with plasma cutting machine, electric cutting machine, band sawing machine as well as automatic gas cutting machine.

Classroom & professor's office

One classroom, one administrative office, one seminar room, two professor's offices and automation welding rooms are located on the second floor of the welding education center.

Automated welding room

Twenty computers are connected to electron beam welding machines in order to program and control them.

Piping machining room

For the practice of piping machining and machinery maintenance, ten electric screw cutting machine, twelve table vises as well as hydraulic presses are installed in the room.

  • Those who complete the whole 12 months course organized by the Ulsan College Welding Education Center shall be granted the same qualification as the graduates from the industry education center acquires.
  • Both parties shall be cooperative in order to foster competent workforce, which eventually lead to achieving the main goals.
