Department of Tax & Accounting cultivates tax managers who are familiar with corporate accounting and tax laws. We aim to educate tax accountants who are knowledgeable about business and accounting management so that managers know the overall management method of modern business and actively cope with situations and achieve organizational goals.
Tax accounting students can work in financial institutions, large or small companies and accounting and tax firms through systematic education based on corporate accounting and tax law.
In May 2004, we signed a partnership agreement with the Pusan Regional Tax Office. Every year, we conduct field training at the Ulsan Tax Office and Dongulsan Tax Office for the taxation period of income tax and we also conduct comprehensive income tax reporting.
We conduct field training at the accounting or tax firms, corporations and tax accounting offices in Ulsan so that we can improve the tax accounting ability to be linked with employment.
We actively support the acquisition of computerized accounting and computer taxation certifications, which are accredited by the government, through specialized training courses. The test is held four to five times a year by the Korea institude of CTA and the Korean institude of CPA.
It is possible to transfer to Ulsan University’s Accountancy Department, Business Administration Department, Global Business Administration Department, and Law School by the recommendation of the department according to a 2 + 2 collaboration agreement.
